This year’s retro will honor the Chicago Bulls’ historic 72-10 record en route to winning their 4th NBA championship (their first after Mike’s baseball hiatus.) The Air Jordan 11 “72-10” pair promises to be the most premium Air Jordan XI to-date, and with this the priciest release of a single Air Jordan 11, the packaging reflects the added attention and detail that was used to create this historic sneaker release.
Today we get an in depth look at the holiday release’s box, as the slide out packaging returns complete with the carbon fiber inspired tissue paper pattern and translucent plastic XI protective cover. Probably the most interesting update here is the return of the plastic shoe trees in a matching iridescent aesthetic as well as the overlay on the box with the same attractive detailing.
