Clippers-Warriors always lives up to the hype. It’s been the most entertaining rivalry of the past three years and with happenings like a shouting match at the end of 2013’s Game 7 that called in Staples Center police, Draymond Green’s near face-lick of Blake Griffin in a wave of braggadocio, multiple ejections over the years, and Steph Curry vs Chris Paul, there’s no reason to wonder why an early November game came with so much excitement attached.
The Warriors are unstoppable right now – that’s even with their head coach Steve Kerr out until possibly February. That’s more of a testament to how cohesive a group Golden State is right now than anything else and they should be feeling great after besting the Clippers last night. Despite a huge game from Chris Paul and contributions from Blake Griffin, Steph Curry proved once again to be the best player on the floor regardless of the competition. Curry hit a casual 7 three pointers and finished with 31 points while proving to be the better floor general all night long. His patriotic UA Curry 2 “Floor General” was an appropriate wear in more ways than one then even if it did more closely match the Clips uniforms. Check out a better look at Steph’s latest kicks and pick up the new Floor General colorway as well as the “Father To Son” tomorrow at select retailers.
