Already introducing the first round of weatherproof MTE editions of classic silhouettes in September, Vans is back with more options to ensure your feet are protected all winter long in style. The Holiday 2015 Vans MTE collection picks up right where the fall offerings left off, with new colorways of the rugged Sk8-Hi MTE for men and women, along with a new silhouette, the Sk8-Hi Del Pato MTE. Vans’ answer to the on-trend sneaker/duckboot hybrid, the Del Pato features the same lugged waffle sole as the standard Sk8-Hi MTE with the added protection of a rubberized mudguard wrapping the upper. The Sk8-Hi Del Pato MTE debuts in two colorways of all-black and ginger/navy. Meanwhile, the Sk8-Hi MTE for men is added in two herringbone suede executions in brown and charcoal, with women’s sizing offered in a denim suede pack including three colorways of black, blue, and coriander. All MTE models come equipped with Scotchgard®-treated uppers, warm linings and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole to battle the wet and cold weather. Along with an equally protective collection of outerwear, the Vans MTE collection for Holiday 2015 is available now online at Vans.com/MountainEdition and select Vans retailers.
