Kobe dropped 31 points in 32 minutes on the Denver Nuggets last night, showing signs of his former brilliance in a 111-107 victory. The end-of-the-career tour has usually ended on a sour note with a Lakers loss and about five too many shots from the Black Mamba, but these past four games a 37-year-old Bryant has found his stride with four consecutive 20 point games. His latest PE selection was a noteworthy Nike Kobe 10 Elite High “Cool Grey” PE with a translucent purple outsole, midsole speckling, and three different shades of grey occupying the Flyknit woven upper. Can we expect Kobe to stay in this groove through the end of the year? Probably not, but it’s nice to see some positive signs in Laker-land during a rather abysmal season. We’re still not sure when Kobe will switch over to the recently unveiled Nike Kobe 11, but expect it to be sometime after he laces up that “Christmas” Kobe 10.
