That fact is more of a testament to how insanely popular such a simple silhouette has been in Nike SB‘s lineup while still remaining a valid on-board performer for skating traditionalists. It’s a similar success story to the Zen-like quality of Nike’s Roshe Run that showcased design still matters to consumers in today’s ever-growing hype machine. Today we get some good news as the first ever Nike SB Janoski to hit retailers is getting a retro treatment. The OG black and white pair featuring a gum bottom is returning to shelves in the near future featuring the classic canvas construction. It’s a little funny that we’re calling a shoe less than a decade old an “OG”, but in the modern hyper-busy release cycle, it’s something we’re seeing more and more of.
