Nike Takes Kobe Back To High School With “Lower Merion Aces”

Kobe 11 Em Lower Merion Aces Release
Nike Basketball has spoiled us with Flyknit varieties of the Kobe 11 right off the jump. The last signature model that Kobe will ever wear during an NBA game has seen all sorts of references to the Black Mamba’s illustrious career and now we’re getting one more, just without the woven upper with the introduction of the Nike Kobe 11 EM. The Engineered Mesh variety features a bold ventilation system, a fused mudguard for extra durability and support, and its own history lesson with a subtle Lower Merion High School reference. Kobe’s Philadelphia alma mater is getting their own PE so to speak, only this Cool Grey/Team Red-Wolf Grey combination will be available at major retailers this weekend like few of them in the past. The back heel even features a unique Ace logo while reflective 3M can be found throughout the bottom half of this Kobe offering. The Nike Kobe 11 EM “Lower Merion” will arrive this Saturday, April 9th at select retailers for $160 USD. Check out more official photos below.
