Sneaker and fashion industry influencers and celebrities gathered in Paris on August 2nd at a special adidas Originals x Foot Locker Europe hosted event to celebrate the upcoming “Triple Black” edition of the adidas Tubular Invader Strap. One of the latest and most stylish additions to the adidas Tubular family yet, the Invader Strap combines the distinct Tubular aesthetic with the retro-inspired mid-top silhouette of the adidas Invader basketball shoe from the 1980s—all completed with a midfoot strap for some extra flair. Prior to the release at Foot Locker Europe, the “Triple Black’ Tubular Invader Strap was on display at the event at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, where attendees danced the night away while getting an early look at the sleek all-black colorway.
