Today is the final day for entrants to submit tickets to the Nike Mag raffle. Just 89 pairs will be given out on random, with winners being notified on October 17th. But what if Nike decided to auction them off on eBay, just like what they did with the 2011 release? For one, not many would be happy, because the shoes would be almost unattainable given the predicted prices. We asked the Twitter community what they thought the final average selling price for the self-lacing Nike Mags would be, and with almost 10,000 votes tallied, we have a better idea of what the sneaker community values these shoes at. Of course, there are some philanthropists with deep pockets whose sole focus is to benefit the Michael J. Fox foundation, so these numbers could be higher.
We posed four price ranges, starting from $10,000. See what Twitter thinks the average selling price would be, and remember, Nike is planning on doing live auctions for three more pairs in November (London, Shanghai, and New York City). You can still enter the raffle here until October 11th, 2016.
If Nike chose to auction the 89 #NikeMag pairs, how much do you think each pair would sell for?
