ASICS Tiger continues to bolster their winter lineup with a number of new creations and leading the way is the ASICS Gel Lyte III MT Mid. The lifestyle take of one of the most recognizable and unique retro running models from the 90s keeps the infamous split-tongue intact but adds a third underlying tongue as part of the new mid-top slip-on construction. ASICS even adds some weather resistant materials like a high-grade ballistic mesh, neoprene, and a synthetic leather to create a sturdy ride that will keep your feet warm against the elements this coming winter.
The ASICS Gel Lyte III Mid returns in a Triple White rendition with just the right amount of contrasting silver touches on the speckled midsole and medial form stripes for a unique twist. Then there’s the near “Bruce Lee” takedown of the new silhouette, as a familiar combination of Yellow and Black utilizes dashes of red for a take that ASICS faithful will love. It’s a winterized version that could double as its own “Wheat” Timberland inspiration thanks to the boot-like laces included while faint speckling on the midsole adds a nice touch.
