The 2017 NBA Playoffs are underway and already the sneaker headlines are beginning to surface. LeBron James just took the court for Game 1 against the Pacers wearing a Cavs PE colorway of the Nike LeBron Soldier 11, set to debut at retail in June. It’s safe to say that LeBron will be reliant on the Soldier 11 this Playoffs, as the Soldier model last year was on his feet when he pulled off the greatest comeback in NBA Playoff Series history. Will you miss the LeBron 14?
The Nike LeBron Soldier 11 isn’t too different from last year’s Soldier 10 model; it features an extra strap, but overall the straps are thinner with an added ribbed texture as previewed by the White/Black and Triple Black pairs earlier this week. The outsole appears to be an offshoot of the Hex-Zoom cushioning that debuted on the LeBron 12 and has been a mainstay since.
