The Nike Air Max 97 is finally starting to release in more available colorways after the Silver Bullets teased limited releases for the past few months. The 20th anniversary of the model inspired by Japanese Bullet trains just got a recent update with a woven Ultra Jacquard 2.0 knit construction, but there’s still nothing like a classic. After previews of official images in both women’s and kids’ sizes, today we finally get an official look at the men’s installment of the Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” slated to release on May 18th for $160 USD. The pair features another precious metal inspiration with Metallic Gold hits on the mesh and leather waves while Varsity Red hits the Swoosh branding for an added pop. What do you think of this look?
