Fewer than 1% of Nike athletes ever get a signature shoe, so having ten signature models is quite a feat in the footwear world. This summer, longtime Nike SB rider Paul Rodriguez joins some very elite company, by having his tenth signature model release. How elite? Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Michael Jordan are the only other people on Earth ever to earn 10+ signature models.
The shoe that brings P-Rod into this select club is the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 10. With a decidedly minimalist and simplistic design, the shoe features a down-to-the essentials look and feel in a low-profile suede upper (general releases) with a Zoom Air cushioned cup sole.
To celebrate the achievement of his tenth signature model, the Paul Rodriguez 10 will release in special edition colorways of Velvet Brown with a gum sole and Redwood with a black sole, built in premium leather with special insoles for a dressed-up look. Each will be available in a run of only 10 pairs. For the general release, the Paul Rodriguez 10 is available July 1st on Nike.com and at select retailers in White/Pure Platinum (pictured below), Black/White and Dark Team Red/Black-Sail colorways.
