Hammadoun Sidibé and Thibaut de Longeville, the two men pictured above, are the creators of the now world-renowned Quai 54 basketball tournament.. The seeds were planted as far back as 1991 when Hammadoun went to NY and saw the booming streetball culture with his own eyes, and the stage was set when a beautiful basketball court was built in Levallois in 2003. Together with Thibaut, who had an extensive background in marketing in hip-hop, the first Quai 54 basketball tournament was held that year, with almost 1,500 showing out to this cultural event. Since then, Quai 54 has grown to be one of the premiere basketball events of the world, and Jordan Brand has been there as a supporter since the start (Nike had supplied the teams with gear from day one).
