adidas Shares Inside Look At The Brooklyn Creator Farm

Adidas Brooklyn Creator Farm 1

2015 can be viewed as a turning point year for adidas. Kanye West embarked on his nationwide “announcement” tour, two of the most coveted sneakers of the 21st century in the Ultra Boost and NMD made their debuts, and the brand announced that a new design studio in Brooklyn would be open that year. It took a bit longer to get that third item checked off, but adidas finally opened its Brooklyn Creator Farm in March of 2017, and today adidas shares a first look inside this incredible open space where some of the most forward-thinking creatives have convened to deliver groundbreaking ideas for the three stripes.

adidas Global Creative Director Paul Gaudio reveals the intentions of the Brooklyn Farm and his visions for this space in the near to not-so-near future. It’s not your typical design studio and it’s definitely not your typical group of designers, as the Brooklyn Creator Farm team consists of all types of concentrations within the brand. You can read the interview in its entirety on adidas’ own blog Game-Plan A as well as view a short introduction video that features Marc Dolce, Denis Dekovic, and Mark Miner, the three designers that left Nike together to head the Brooklyn Farm.
