German sneaker shop Afew teams up with Saucony for a Shadow Master 5000 sneaker collab that pays homage to one of their home country’s greatest writers, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The premium pigskin suede edition of the hybrid retro runner that combines the sole of the Shadow 5000 and upper of the Master Control takes its muted pink and grey color scheme from the beautiful exterior of the Goethe Museum in Düsseldorf, which is also the shop’s home city. Some of Goethe’s poetry is found printed on the heel, laces, and inner lining of the shoe.
Afew has only released these teaser shots of the Shadow Master 5000 so far, so stay tuned to their social channels for a complete unveil, and expect the limited edition sneaker to arrive exclusively at Afew on October 14th. Raffle entry for the online release is open now.
