Nike Is Bringing Back The Air 180 “Ultramarine”

There’s a hook to every Air Max re-issue these days, and it appears that the Air 180 is making its comeback to help tell the story of the brand’s newest exposed-bubble shoe – the Air Max 270. The Air 180 was the first Nike Air Max shoe fully expose the unit as the bag itself extended to the sole of the shoes. This ideation eventually played a role in several Air Max icons that followed, and you can see it quite evidently in the brand’s Vapormax innovation. For those who are keen on this underrated classic, Nike is ushering in the OG “Ultramarine” colorway in February alongside a few other Air Max shoes donning the same colorway.
