size? and ASICS are combining their talents once again to put together a traditionally themed rendition of the GEL-Lyte OG. Dubbed the “36 Views” its colorway represents a focus around the paintings done by Katsushika Hokusai, picking hues from the legendary artist’s Mount Fuji artwork series. Much like Japan, this offering boasts innovative details throughout its design.

Starting with a water resistant suede upper, it also featured a ripstop toebox as well as branded pull tabs on the tongue and the heel respectively – featured for the first time on this particular silhouette. Its water resistant upper is a nod to a number of Hokusai’s paintings with water in them, while the pink tones represent Japan’s famous cherry blossoms.

Limited to only 500 pairs, this collaborative effort will be available exclusively online at size? as well as its stores overseas tomorrow, February 24th.
