Nike And Kyrie Irving Go Back To The 1990s With the “Decades Pack”

Nike And Kyrie Irving Go Back To The 1990s With the “Decades Pack”

Kyrie Irving‘s Nike Basketball line makes a strong case for the best signature footwear in the NBA currently. From clean in-line colorways to fun releases packs like the “Cereal” pack, the Celtics point guard boasts a collection of signature shoes that’s whimsical and fun but still boasts strong design inspiration, excellent on-court performance, and a reasonable price point. Irving’s recently revealed Kyrie 4 “Decades Pack” consists of three shoes—one inspired by the ’70s, one by the ’80s, and one by the ’90s—each drawing upon design motifs and popular color schemes from their respective eras, and now we have a thorough look at the pair from the pack inspired by many a sneakerhead’s favorite decade: the 1990s.

The shoe boasts colorful pastel accents on the outsole and midsole teeth, while further bright-colored hits arrive via the retro squiggle graphics on the collar and heel. A stark white is used as the base both for the upper and midsole—ensuring that the bold accents get to speak as loudly as they possibly can—and the look is completed with a white tonal Swoosh on the upper and a small hit of aqua blue detailing on the bottom two lace loops. Look for these throwback Kyries to arrive on Nike.com and at Nike Basketball stockists like Renarts August 25th for the standard Kyrie 4 retail price of $120 USD.
