Kicking things off will be a two-piece set that pays homage to the iconic and pace-setting battle between Goku and Frieza on the Namek Planet that spanned over 20 episodes in DBZ lore. Dressed in a familiar orange and blue color scheme, Goku’s half of this capsule dresses up the modernized ZX 500 RM silhouette adorned in classic mesh and suede. With intrinsic details far from being at a premium, ripped canvas makes its presence known around the model’s signature Three Stripes. Hidden elements for diehard DBZ fanatics the likes of Goku’s flying Nimbus and Kanji characters on its medial side that reference the sound a nimbus cloud makes truly put this heralded piece of footwear over the top. Accompanied by a custom branded box and tissue paper, the adidas ZX 500 RM “Goku” will be arriving at select Three Strips retailers alongside Freiza‘s Yung-1 on September 29th.
