Sneaker News Earlier in September, Nike surprised LeBron fans with the sudden re-issue of the LeBron 3 signature shoe, the soldier boot-inspired designed that featured a full leather upper and a large-volume Zoom encased in a Pebax shell. It appears that the Swoosh is ready for a second round of the LeBron 3 Retro, because the OG black/gold styling is set to drop soon as a Quickstrike as well. Just like the OG from 2006, this black/gold edition features a full black leather upper construction, sublime gold detailing on the Swoosh and lace-eyelets, and a sporty red Swoosh at the heel of the sole. While a release date hasn’t been confirmed, earlier reports have marked a drop this winter, so we’ll wait and see if these make their way to Nike Basketball shelves before month’s end.
