Another Classic adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 Colorway Returns This Friday

Another Classic adidas Ultra Boost 2.0 Colorway Returns This Friday

When the second wave of adidas Ultra Boost releases — unofficially dubbed the Ultra Boost 2.0 — originally hit the market in 2016, anticipation was high. Could the UB remain atop the lifestyle market? The answer was yes, thanks to releases both clean and colorful. One of the most popular new colorways was the New York-inspired “Lady Liberty” makeup, a miadidas exclusive that featured a light turquoise upper inspired by the Statue of Liberty’s weathered finish. Now the Lady Liberty is returning again, and it features all the same detailing that made the original release so popular. Light green Primeknit is interwoven with reflective silver detailing on the upper, while a mint green midfoot cage and flecked laces offer extra contrast. The mint green heel cage features silver and gold branding for a nod to the solemn-yet-hopeful statue’s torch, and the shoe is then completed with a special NYC-branded insole. You can look for these remastered UBs to drop December 7th for $180 USD, and if you’re in New York you can also head to the Times Square Champs for a special release event with NY’s own lovable rapper/chef/tv host Action Bronson.
