For Three Stripes fans who adore the aesthetic of the Yung-1 but can’t quite get behind the silhouette’s bulk, adidas has the perfect consolation, by way of the much sleeker Yung-96. Much like the Yung-1, the 96 borrows cues from the German sportswear label’s expansive archive, creating an attractive lifestyle ready piece of footwear while sacrificing little to no comofort, equipping both an EVA midsole and Torsion X-bar. For the next Yung-96 rendition, the Trefoil brand is calling upon notes of green, red, and golden yellow, creating one of the more colorful iterations in the early life of this retro-inspired runner. Hits of white and grey are added into the fold as well, toning down the dazzling aesthetic, and keeping it slightly grounded. At the moment, pairs are expected to touch down at retailers next month, so grab a first look here and keep it locked for a specific date as we have it.
