Ross Dwyer Unquestionably one of the most unusual NSW silhouettes to release in recent memory, Nike’s Air Max 720 Saturn combines an Air Max 720 cushioning unit with an ultra high-cut upper for a space-ready look. First premiered as part of the Swoosh Brand’s All-Star Weekend slate of releases, the Saturn’s all the way futuristic in its stylings, but now it’s surfaced in a classic palatte that any sneakerhead is sure to be familiar with: “Triple Black.” Although the colorway is decidedly more toned-down than past releases, the Saturn still manages to make some interplanetary-level noise via details like branded taped seams and technical buckles/snaps on the heel collar. An outlined Swoosh adds branding, and an opaque jet-black Air Max unit offers a finishing touch of both cushioning and style.
