First brought to market in 1994 and rocked on-court by the incomparable Dennis Rodman, the Nike Air Darwin is a classic piece of ’90s hoop shoe history. Now, 25 long years after the Darwin originally debuted, it’s resurfaced in an OG white/teal/black colorway. Boasting a look that’s sure to be inherently familiar to any long-time fan of the Swoosh Brand’s basketball footwear, smooth and perforated white leather combine with black and white ballistic mesh to provide the upper’s base. Meanwhile, accents are provided by the above-mentioned teal, which appears on the lace loops, heel tab, and the shoe’s most recognizable design feature: its flipped Swoosh, a design that’s almost as quirky as the Worm himself. A chunky black midsole with heel Air Max cushioning and a textured outsole then round off the look. A store list/full set of images of these redone classics resides below, so check ’em out right here, and snag your pair for $130 USD
