Any tonal palette of this nature is inherently simple, but the simplicity that’s present allows the unique nature of the design to speak out, as the upper’s compelling shape and warped plastic overlays are seemingly enhanced by their monochromatic makeup. A smoky anthracite presents itself on the plastic midfoot and the 720’s signature colossal Air Max cushioning unit, while the outsole goes back to black to complete the look.
