LeBron James never had this much off-season time in quite a while. The Lakers superstar missed the Playoffs for the first time since his sophomore season in the NBA, so he’s been placing a lot more attention on his two sons and their own hoop dreams through the youth circuit. The King was spotted at the Nike EYBL session one doing is usual dad/coach routine, and on his feet was a pair of Nike LeBron 15s inspired by the Air Yeezy , Kanye West’s first Nike collaboration which dropped back in 2009. Ye’s Nike shoes have been referenced countless times over the years through color applications and the like, but we’ve never actually seen a shoe take such a direct approach with the sneaker as it features an exact color-blocking treatment as the “Net” colorway and the thick midfoot strap, plus a cheeky “Breezy” hit on the heel tab. While there are no intentions to bring back the LeBron 15 let alone this Yeezy colorway, we’re now wondering if there’s an Air Yeezy 2 version in the works (or hiding in LeBron’s closet).
