Over the past few years, Nike’s Air Max lifestyle push has brought us compelling casual Max silhouettes like the Air Max 270 and Air Max 720, and now another street-ready pair has been revealed: the brand-new Air Max 200 in white with black and gold accents. Sharp-eyed Air Max aficionados may spot some similarities to the Air Max 180 with the shape of the midsole and size of the heel’s bubble. However, although the lower half may be inherently familiar, the upper half is all new. Layered suede panels sit on top of a mesh base, while the tongue boasts a slightly chunky shape, perfectly in line with current trends. Branding is provided by Swooshes on the lateral/medial sides and toebox, while an Air 200 logo that makes clever use of an infinity symbol graces the tongue. Enjoy a first look at these Nike shoes below, and stay tuned for more info, as we’re likely to see many more makeups of this new silhouette over the coming weeks.
