The Nike Air Force 1 Sage Low Gets A Basketball Court-Themed Makeover

The Nike Air Force 1 Sage Low Gets A Basketball Court-Themed Makeover

Although the Nike Air Force 1 has strictly served as a lifestyle shoe ever since Rasheed Wallace — the last NBA player to regularly take the court in a pair — retired, it was introduced to the market in the ’80s as a high-performance hoops silhouette, and now the new-jack Air Force 1 Sage Low is paying homage to that original method of use with a basketball court-inspired colorway. The Sage already presents a unique take on the classic Air Force 1 Low thanks to its combo of an enlarged midsole and stripped-back upper, but now its look is even more poignant thanks to the unique detailing that’s present here. The midfoot splits between powder blue and dark navy blue, which are kept separate by red court-style lines. A pebbled leather-equipped turquoise Swoosh/turquoise leather detailing on the silver deubre then arrive to add a special touch of premium flair. The basketball-inspired stylings are rounded off by court-style graphics on the tongue patch/insole, a white toebox ensures a dash of elegance, and a cored-out outsole ensures that the shoe provides lightweight comfort. You can expect these new Forces to release on Nike.com for $110 USD in the coming weeks, so enjoy a full set of official images directly below while you wait.
