Nike isn’t quite done with snakeskin just yet, applying the luxe fabrications to almost each and every one of their Air Max icons. The newest to take on the textural mosaic is luckily the Air Max 98 whose various segments use the newfound tooling in pleasing minimalism; instead of bearing it throughout its total constructions in true-to-life form, Beaverton has simply embossed the various scales across its entire mudguard layers with those adjacent staying simple in various flat materials. The bottommost strikes in an “Ocean Blue” scheme with its various cuts and dips matching its close white variant. Swooshes arrive embroidered, as is custom with the silhouette, while top lines taking on an almost metallic silver sheen. Soles, tongues, and laces are simplistic and bereft of any standout modification while the air bubble pokes out with an glowing pink inners. Grab a detailed look at the pair right below and expect to see it hitting select retailers and Nike.com very soon.
