Nike And The NBA Deliver New Air Force 1 Highs For The Upcoming Season

Nike And The NBA Deliver New Air Force 1 Highs For The Upcoming Season

The NBA’s regular season tip off is roughly seven weeks away, so Nike has prepared for the impending festivities with new team-centric takes on the classic Air Force 1 High. Debuting in one colorway that’s unquestionably Lakers-themed and another that appears to be Clippers-inspired but could also be a nod to the Sixers or the Pistons, each shoe features a classic high-top cut and white leather forefoot/midfoot. Despite the traditional stylings on the front, things are all new on the back: each shoe’s heel, collar, and strap are dressed in a team-appropriate color and constructed of nylon for a bold pop of material flair, while the midfoot Swooshes also offer a yin and yang between squad-specific accenting tones and stark white. For a finishing touch, a repeating co-branded NBA and Nike Sportswear hit runs down the tongue and heel taping. No matter if you’re backing LeBron James and the Lakers, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and the Clippers, or another team entirely, there’s sure to be a pair you love arriving this season. They’re available now at overseas stockists like Billy’s Tokyo and will likely arrive stateside as the season draws closer, so enjoy a look below and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further info as it’s available.
