Understandably one of the year’s more understated reissues due to the sheer amount of retro product out on the market, the Air Flight ’89 has captured the hearts of older heads who have a soft spot for the Flight era of the turn of the 90s. After quietly debuting earlier this season by hitting stores without any notice, this legendary hoop silhouette is set to make a return in a “True Blue” make-up – a clear take-off from the OG Air Jordan 3 in the similar colorway. There’s something about this palette that just works exceedingly well, so much so that Kanye West was spotted in these regularly when he was still signed on with Nike back in 2012.
