Nike Golf Debuts The Running Shoe-Inspired Zoom Infinity Tour

Nike Zoom Infinity Tour 4

When it comes to the sport of golf, many often focus on the quality of their equipment such as the famous Titleist balls, or the TaylorMade irons for example. And while quality of these items is indeed essential for high-level performance, it also should be equally considered for the sport’s footwear. Especially for professional PGA golfer Brooks Koepka, who back in November 2017, asked the Nike team to construct a shoe that was more responsive to not only his comfort needs, but also his powerful playing style that result in swings reaching speeds up to 128 mph.

Approximately two and a half years later, the Swoosh is ready to unveil the answer to Koepka’s challenge, which arrives in the form of the newly designed Air Zoom Infinity Tour. A brand new silhouette structured with Beaverton’s most innovative technologies, the shoe is reinforced with water-resistant Flyknit to comprise its upper constructions, and amalgamated with a plush React-infused cushioning unit to provide premium durability and energy-responsiveness when zooming through the fairway. This debut colorway takes on a clean white base layer paired with a black heel cup, and gets accented with a burst of neon pinks and volts infused into the taping and traction, which in this case, makes perfect sense considering part of its influence is from the Infinity React Run that launched in similar palette today. Grab a detailed look here below and find these dropping on on April 1st, 2020.
