Detailed Look At The Women’s Air Jordan 5 “Oil Grey”

The Air Jordan 5 may not have had much time to itself in 2019, but with a new year comes new opportunities, and Jordan Brand is effectively starting it on good footing as they prepare for Off-White’s recreation, a fusion of the “Top 3” kind, and now a clean women’s exclusive dubbed “Oil Grey.” No overt femininity arrives here, rather, it opts for a versatile make-up that could easily stand on tall on its own in men’s sizing; the uppers, of which a smooth leather mostly constructs, seems to bear a treatment subtly out of the norm, sitting almost iridescent though without the loud reflective uppers of previous creations. This lends to an interesting dye, one that’s only marginally mixed with different shades: throughout a base of what looks to be purple you can see ethereal spots of a soft green or even a strong assortment of different cool tones. Accents elsewhere — cages, laces, eye stays, and toggles — then come affixed with black dye in complement to the darker backdrop, while the midsole contrasts in clean white.
