Although unconventional, BBC Ice Creams made their triumphant return back to the sneaker scene. Last year, we saw the Pharrell-founded Billionaire Boys Club reconnect with Reebok, but rather than re-issue the classic Lows, the revitalized collaboration focused on the BB4600 Hi and Low, the Zig Kinetica training shoe, and the Answer V retro. The last of the three seemed to make the deepest imprint as aftermarket prices for that particular issue continues its rise, so it’s good news to hear that another BBC Ice Cream x Reebok Answer V is in the works at the start of the next month. Like the first pair, these make use of a vivid color palette of purple, teal, and yellow, with the mischievous Ice Cream logo placed at the circular jewel on the upper. An Iverson Ice Cream hangtag will also come attached. It remains to be seen if the custom box packaging will be part of this follow-up release, but for now, await updates as the launch nears.
