The Nike Air Max 90 Joins The ACG-Inspired Family Of Colorways

The Nike Air Max 90 Joins The ACG-Inspired Family Of Colorways

Nike ACG, after dressing to the demands of Acronym founder Errolson Hugh, has gone back to basics with their new direction, enlisting a few brand new silhouettes while more so calling attention to the rare and unexpected comeback. Yet another trend to make its return is the use of non-proprietary models — the Air Force 1, Air Max 1, etc. — infusing the mountaineering ethos that has defined the brand for near decades now. It’s taken to more newfound classics such as the React Element 55 while even finding time to reshape the Hike Nike Man with new gear, but while each their own merit, the most alluring of the entire pack may just be this Air Max 90, a fitting notch in its 30th birthday run. Vibrant purples dress the leather of the profile paneling, black the suede just below, and elsewhere yellows and pink take a more backseat role as they cover not only the radial molds but also the swoosh and heel tab. Hidden details also tag along, as the insole print pays direct homage to a classic vintage ad. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to hit soon at Nike.com come February 15th.
