Jovani Hernandez Nike’s Air Max 90 is still informing future-thinking design even after 30 years on the market, as suggested by the forthcoming Air Max 2090. And yet, the marquee silhouette continues to embrace its debut era through colorways, like this “Vivid Pink” and “Blue Fury” arrangement.
Keeping things a lot simpler than the ’90s-inspired options coming to Nike By You, the Air Max 90’s recently surfaced ensemble features a “Cool Grey” mesh base overlaid with white leather. Profile Swooshes, upper eye stays and tongues also partake in the plain affair, but the latter two placements have purplish complements. Elsewhere, midsole wedges, “AIR MAX” logo windows, “NIKE AIR” heel tabs and forefoot tread also opt for the “Vivid Pink” flair. Signature mudguards, however, interrupt the mostly two-tone story with their punchy blue styling. The “Blue Fury” hue only appears again on insole branding.
