adidas Is Bringing Back Its Microbounce Cushioning

adidas Is Bringing Back Its Microbounce Cushioning

Before BOOST took over the world of sneaker culture, adidas had many a different cushioning, some not once making it to the brand’s modern day line-up. But with the ZX series gradually whipping back into shape and many a revival sitting adjacent, it was only a matter of time before the Three Stripes stumbled on the Microbounce bottoms yet again. An answer to similar executions from its time — roughly the early 2000s — the tooling adds aggression by way of its aesthetic and keeps up with performance standard through visible utility. Seen very pronounced at the midsole, various pods act as a springboard atop a much more rigid tread, lining the bottoms of various upper make-ups in more translucent finishes or playful multicolor. Among the two Microbounce T1s set to debut this March, one is by and large more neutral above — utilizing black mesh with accenting cream mudguards — while the next leans towards eccentrics in its mostly all-over yellow dye. Grab a detailed look at both offerings below and expect to find them at adidas.com and select shops on March 6th for a retail of $160 USD.

In other Three Stripes innovations, Sean Wotherspoon just revealed a small glimpse of his adidas SUPEREARTH collaboration.
