The New Balance 992 “Nimbus Cloud” Is Returning This Weekend

The New Balance 992 “Nimbus Cloud” Is Returning This Weekend

In the past few months alone, New Balance has aggressively changed their public image, subverting their former dad shoe epithet with a string of noteworthy collaborations (WTAPS, Casablanca, etc.) as well as the timely revival of their now beloved 992. From its heritage grey scheme to its more vibrant color pairings, the silhouette has rapidly picked up the pace since its modern debut, and now later this weekend, we’re set to see the return of another strong colorway dubbed the “Nimbus Cloud.” First introduced by way of KITH, the pair leans towards a light, versatile palette with the upper suedes and adjacent leathers subtly filtering with a subtle tint of cream. Mesh panels underneath as well as the heel stabilizer and reflective “N” logo are given a coat of neutral grey while the laces and tooling are provided a much truer white. Grab a detailed look at these here, and as they’re planned for release in Japan this weekend on May 16th, it’s likely we’ll see a release at the stateside newbalance.com soon.

In other news, the New Balance 327 Pride is coming soon.
