Aside from its “Racer Blue” colorway, the Air Jordan 9 has been relatively left out of this year’s schedule. And as teased earlier this weekend, we may have to wait just a bit longer for its next release — specifically early 2021. Mocked-up by the @zsneakerheadz and @soleheatonfeet duo, the pair colors in with both Dark Charcoal and black, the latter taking up much of the textured panels that outfit the center construction. Elsewhere, from the mudguards up to the ankle, the suede materials hint just marginally lighter in the grey complement while accents atop contrast by way of a brighter and more colorful University Gold. Typical heel and sole branding follow suit alongside the lining and pulls, finishing off what is likely to a versatile entry into the upcoming calendar. Expect more info to arrive closer to the rumored launch window.

In other news, MJ’s signed and game-worn pair of OG Air Jordan 1 Samples sold for a high $560,000 USD.
