Sneaker News Montreal’s moodboard-turned-purveyor of simple goods JJJJound has revealed a first look at an upcoming collaboration with the 992 model, confirming a return to the dingy grey hue that was made famous by their 990v3 collaboration of late 2018. Aside from the signature hue, the underlays and heel-tabs are a shade darker, while a jet black colors in the N logo as well as the interior lining of the shoe. Somehow JJJJound manages to re-interpret the basic grey New Balances with a subtlest of touches, proving that less is more given the right application. That’s been the case for nearly all the collaborations this year, including the Kith New Balance 992 and the WTAPS New Balance 992. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but once these drop, don’t expect them to be available for long. More details to come.
