In the absence of any basketball action IRL, Converse has still been making some notable headlines related to their hoops category lately. The brand added WNBA champion Natasha Cloud of the Washington Mystics to their family, and on the release front, they recently delivered their Solstice collection to the public. And to jump start the month of July, the One Star brand is supplying even more hoops-ready products for their consumers in the form of a collection with their earliest NBA ambassador Kelly Oubre.
The two-piece collection highlights the All Star Pro BB Hi and Low, and is fittingly dubbed the “Soul Collection” to reflect the Suns’ forward’s affinity for psychedelic rock. The higher-profiled iteration is treated with a mixture of purple and blue tie-dye graphics merged together with stark black trim — a fitting palette considering part of his franchise’s team colors involves purple — while the low-top prints wave-like graphics from forefoot-to-heel against its angelic backdrop. The latter could potentially be a nod to Oubre’s “Tsunami” PEs that he was spotted rocking earlier in the NBA season. Check out more images here, and find them releasing on Converse.com come July 2nd for $140 (Hi) and $130 (Low).
