Ostensibly high fashion inspired, the Nike Zoom Double Stacked effectively takes the best of both aesthetic and function. Its tooling, which bears the innovation its namesake would imply, arrives almost excessively oversized thanks to its triplet of Air Zoom pods — one at the forefoot and the other two at the heel. And while doused in many a neon prior, this cushioning is now set to dress in neutrals, using light blues within a shell of no color. Surrounding, the midsole is coated in a complementary white shade, one that bleeds into the rest of the upper alongside. Mesh, while somewhat cream pigmented, bears texture against the edge of optical white smooth leather panels; swooshes, though small relative to adjacent shoes, embroiders thick along the side while miniature just along the heel.
