As part of its 30th Anniversary, the Air Jordan 5 has released in a handful of notable ensembles throughout 2020. And while it isn’t celebrating a milestone anniversary next year, the silhouette is poised to indulge fans forever on the hunt for more fighter jet-inspired options, given that it’s appeared in the recently-announced Jordan Brand Spring 2021 collection in two outfits.

Whereas one pair nods to the model’s “Stealth” colorway from 2007, the second proposition brings the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker’s iconic reflective materials from the tongue to the rest of the shoe. Predominantly clad in an “Anthracite” palette and constructed from suede leather and textile, the upcoming Jordan 5 features the shimmering detail on the quarter panel and tongue bottom instead of on the Jumpman logo-stamped tongue upper. Other original detailing – “23” branding on the lateral heel and the speckled accent on the shark teeth-inspired midsole tooling – however remain intact on the retro, delivering a mix of heritage and a modern approach.

An official Nike SNKRS release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but earlier rumors of this pair touted a February 24th, 2021 launch. In any case, bookmark the Jordan Release Dates page for all updates.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, a Dior x Nike Air Max 95 is reportedly in the works.

UPDATED 1/19/2021:
