Throughout its 41st anniversary, the Nike Daybreak has dressed up in dozens of a special iterations that still capture the essence of its performance-running legacy. For its latest proposition, the waffle pattern tread-donning model has indulged in a compelling Enigma Stone-based colorway.
Faint purple takes over the pair’s nylon base, while “Enigma Stone” complements the tone via the suede overlays throughout the upper. Profile swooshes maintain their standard leather makeup, forgoing the experimental iterations courtesy of Nike Sportswear’s N.354 label. Branding on the tongue and heel also nod to pairs debuted at the Honolulu Marathon in 1978, as does the sole unit. Outsoles, however, indulge in the lifestyle-friendly “Gum Medium Brown” styling that’s appears on other options from the Swoosh, including the Air Force 1.
