Update: The Dunk Is Back On NIKEiD (Now Nike By You)

Prior to the Nike Dunk‘s unthinkable comeback to the limelight in 2019/2020, the Dunk was once readily available to the masses through the Swoosh’s DIY customizable platform known as Nike iD. It’s been at least half a decade since both the Dunk Low and Dunk High was pulled from the virtual shelves, with its unavailability is likely due to slowed interest. But things have rapidly changed for the Dunk over the last couple of years, with surprise re-issues and unthinkable collaborations writing the latest chapter for one of the most storied sneakers in history.

These screenshots captured by quick-handed online sleuths reveal that at the very least, there could be plans for the Dunk Low to return to customization with a $120 price tag. Although these are nowhere to be found online now, a price-tag of $120 is clearly pictured while a variety of color options are likely to be available of this comeback is sooner than later. One curious detail is that Nike has indeed transitioned from iD to By You, so the product could reappear again as Nike Dunk Low By You.

If the Dunk Low iD is indeed set to return soon, do you think it’s a bit early to make it customizable to the masses? There are still plenty of plans for the Dunk moving forward, but for now it doesn’t seem like the Dunk is vulnerable to the pitfalls of product over-saturation just yet. Stay tuned for updates.
