Michael Le Extra Butter certainly has no shortage of memorable collaborations. But with their latest adidas Ultra Boost 1.0, the boutique really struck a hole-in-one as they celebrate the beloved comedy Happy Gilmore right in time for the film’s 25th anniversary.
Sure to make Shooter and Gilmore himself proud, the colorway celebrates the coveted “Gold Jacket” that acts as the MacGuffin of the entire movie. As such, deep yellow shades dress the upper in near entirety — specifically, the suede toe and heel overlays as well as the thick Primeknit underneath. White Boost soles and cages seem to mimic golf balls, while finger gun shaped debossing nods to the aforementioned antagonist.
