Jordan Brand, aside from the odd and rare release, has seemed rather reluctant to join the “Move to Zero” initiative. However, starting with Fall 2021, that is to change for the better as the Air Jordan 12 is soon to arrive featuring Nike Grind materials.

A slow but welcome start, the AJ12 mainly applies the recycled materials to the outsole. A ballistic mesh tongue sits opposite, while the rest of the shoe pushes genuine leathers and suedes in a deep black shade. Faux reptilian textures dress the latter below, red detailing hits the profile and adjacent branding, and metallic silver hooks affix to the collar.

Enjoy a closer look here and expect a release to hit Nike SNKRS and likely select retailers on August 21st.

In other news, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is coming back.
