Pharrell’s adidas Humanrace Sičhona Appears In Burgundy

Time and time again, Pharrell Williams has proven that he’s never-not-working. And whether he’s occupied with ventures into the hospitality industry or prepping the adidas Humanrace Sičhona, the Virginia-native has made it a prerogative to be purposeful, mindful and inclusive in all of his endeavors.

Designed with the intention of bringing wearers closer to the earth, Williams’ newest adidas silhouette borrows its name from a Dakota phrase interpreted as “barefoot.” The sensation is made possible by the German sportswear company’s Futurenatural technology, a construction process that seamlessly forges the sole unit to the Primeknit upper through immense pressure and heat. Through its new process, the Three Stripes minimizes elements that normally separate a wearer’s foot to the surface on which they’re stepping. Furthermore, the anatomically-molded TPU midsole and thoughtful tread pattern proffer a ride unlike other propositions under Skateboard P’s expansive footwear endeavors. Mustard-like “Humanrace” text on the lateral profile contrasts the shades of burgundy that take up almost all of the sneaker, although pink tongue labels and the blue additional set of laces deliver some playful personality to the style.
