Michael Le To say that adidas was well-prepared for the EQT series’ 30th anniversary would be an understatement. In the past few months, the brand has collaborated with some of the retail industry’s finest boutiques, each providing their own spin on one of the many archival offerings. Here, the Three Stripes is taking their celebration in a slightly different direction, applying the line-up’s signature green to the also beloved Forum Mid.
A vintage-like sole lays the foundation, its midsole given a yellowed finish and its bottom the aforementioned “EQT Green.” The latter, also, echoes throughout the upper, appearing along the woven unders, the branding, and the leather trims that wrap the collar. White panels, then, round out the construction, making up a great portion of the overall paneling.
