Tracy McGrady’s Hall Of Fame career began in 1997-1998 season when he was drafted by the Toronto Raptors in the lottery. Among the greatest prep-to-pro NBA players in history, McGrady jumped to the NBA after playing in the renowned Mount Zion Christian Academy, a school that has produced some immense basketball talent in the pro ranks. However, T-Mac played just his senior season at Mount Zion as he suited up for Auburndale High School for most of his pre-NBA years. In fact, McGrady’s impact on the school led to the naming of the Tracy McGrady Gymnasium in 2004.
This upcoming adidas T-Mac 3 honors his time at that school as the colorway matches the Bloodhounds’ royal blue and bright yellow. Soft suede uppers in blue are paired with white smooth leather and a mesh yellow ankle, while a blue/white ribboned detail sits at the interior heel to complete the sporty affair.
A release is expected in early 2022, so check out the official images ahead. In other adidas news, the Yeezy 350 “Beluga Reflective” is dropping this weekend.
